Unstructured Play is another word for Child-Directed Learning. We set up the classroom to include new activities that exercise fine & gross motor skills, cognitive development, and team building.
We do not force these activities onto our students; instead we allow them to explore them without being asked to, and are assisted as needed.
When it is a child’s idea to do or explore something, they are altogether more interested in learning and expanding on their own personal knowledge.
We are working on having AM & PM classes available Monday, Wednesday, & Fridays for 2025-2026!
Field Days to local nature preserves, parks, farms, orchards, & more 1-2 times a month!
Abilities, Characteristics, and Skills
your child will be observed on daily by their teachers.
Curriculum is seasonally based and follows the lead of the children’s interests. Subjects like math, reading, science, art, music, physical education, and social studies are interwoven into each class through guided activities.
